Information you choose to send
The website itself does not provide a customer-account system, online firearm store, background-check form, or identity-document upload. If you select an email link, your email application opens and you decide what to send directly to WDF.
For transfer coordination, WDF may need ordinary contact and transaction details such as your name, email, telephone number, seller contact, order number, general item category, shipment timing, and tracking number.
Email only the documents WDF requests
New WDF customers should email a picture of their driver’s license and CPL, if they have one, as part of the transfer request. Do not send Social Security numbers, payment-card information, background-check records, or unrelated sensitive records.
Technical information
Like most websites, the hosting system may create limited security and operational logs, such as request time, requested page, browser type, network address, response status, and data volume. This information may be used to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and understand the website.
Cookies
The public informational pages are designed to work without advertising or ecommerce tracking. WordPress may use essential cookies for administrators who sign in. The embedded map is delivered by OpenStreetMap and is governed by that provider’s own privacy and cookie practices.
Email and business records
Information sent by email is handled through the recipient’s email service rather than stored by this theme. WDF may retain business communications and transaction records when operational, contractual, safety, or legal obligations require them. Email only the transfer details and identification documents WDF requests.
Embedded map and third-party links
The home page automatically loads an interactive map from OpenStreetMap. When the map loads, your browser connects to OpenStreetMap and may share routine technical information such as your network address, browser details, and the referring page. The separate directions button opens Google Maps only after you choose it. These external services have their own privacy practices.
